Nocturnal Wildlife Support Kits for Group Learning
Our Bulk Buy – 10 x DIY Bat Seed Bomb Kits helps children support bats by planting insect-attracting flowers. These kits introduce nocturnal wildlife in a positive, creative and accessible way.
Great for schools, forest schools, homeschool groups and eco clubs.
This kit goes beyond planting flowers — it teaches children how to create their own wildflower seed bombs designed specifically to support night-time pollinators. By mixing clay, compost and specially selected night-scented flower seeds, children form protective seed balls that can be scattered onto soil. The clay helps protect seeds from birds and harsh weather, while the compost supports quicker germination and strong growth.
Once dried, the seed bombs can be gifted as a unique eco-friendly present, or used to create a dedicated night-scented wildflower area at school or at home. Watching the flowers bloom and attract evening pollinators allows children to observe nature in action over time.
As the flowers release their scent in the evening, they attract moths and other nocturnal pollinators — an important food source for bats. Through this hands-on activity, children learn about ecosystems, food chains and the fascinating link between plants, insects and bats, helping them understand how small actions can support local wildlife.
